Warranty

1) Geographic scope

This warranty is offered to customers worldwide and applies to products purchased directly from our online store and delivered to any international address.

2) Warranty periods

Bags are covered for 30 months from the delivery date recorded by the carrier. Small leather goods, including wallets, belts, watch straps, and small accessories, are covered for 24 months from the delivery date recorded by the carrier. The warranty applies to the original purchaser and to gift recipients who can provide proof of purchase.

For customers in the EU/UK, your statutory 2-year warranty rights remain unaffected.

3) What is covered

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

For the full applicable warranty period (24 or 30 months):

• Leather quality defects, including cracking, splitting, or structural deterioration due to material fault
• Failed or unraveling hand-stitching caused by workmanship error
• Structural failures such as delamination
• Defective hardware such as zippers, snaps, or rings due to manufacturing defects

If a defect in leather quality or stitching workmanship is confirmed within the warranty period, the repair or replacement is fully covered, including shipping both ways as described in Section 6.

Edge finishing (painted edges) is covered under separate conditions below.

Within the first 6 months from delivery, abnormal peeling, cracking, separation, or premature edge failure under normal use is considered a potential workmanship issue and is fully covered.

After 6 months and within the warranty period, edge paint wear in high-flex or high-stress areas (such as wallet folds or corners) is considered natural aging due to regular use. While this is not classified as a material or structural defect, we continue to offer complimentary edge refinishing service under the shipping terms in Section 6.

4) What is not covered

This warranty does not cover:

- Normal wear and patina including scratches, creasing, softening of finish, or color transfer from garments
- Gradual edge wear in folding or high-friction areas after extended use beyond the initial 6-month period
- Damage resulting from misuse, overloading (excess cards or contents), sitting on the wallet, impact, liquids, moisture, mold, heat, chemicals, or improper storage or care
- Alterations or repairs by third parties
- Loss or theft
- Events outside our control

Natural characteristics of genuine leather, including grain variation, marks, shade differences, pull-up effects, and patina over time, are not defects.

5) How to make a claim (RMA process)

Before returning any product under warranty, email
Warranty @TDNLeather.com with your order number, clear photos or video of the issue, and a brief description of recent use. If the claim appears eligible, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions. Items sent back without an RMA may be refused. We normally assess claims within 1 to 3 business days after receiving your email.

6) Shipping for warranty service (USA/EU)

Shipping responsibility depends on the nature of the issue:

- Leather defects or stitching workmanship defects (within full warranty period):
If confirmed, repair or replacement is fully covered, including shipping both ways at our expense.

- Edge finishing within the first 6 months from delivery:
If abnormal edge failure under normal use is confirmed, repair is fully covered, including shipping both ways at our expense.

- Edge refinishing after 6 months (natural wear in high-flex areas):
Refinishing labor is provided free of charge; you are responsible for shipping the item to us, and we cover return shipping back to you.

- Damage resulting from misuse or improper handling (including edge or stitching damage caused by overloading, impact, water exposure, or improper care):
Repair labor is provided as a courtesy within the warranty period; however, you are responsible for shipping both ways.

We will advise the most economical shipping method available for your location.

7) Remedies

If a warranty claim is approved, we will repair or replace the item at no charge. If a reasonable repair or replacement is not possible, we may refund the purchase price paid for the product. Warranty remedies do not include compensation for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses to the extent permitted by law.

8) Craftsmanship and Materials Pledge (5× guarantee for 36 months)

We pledge that each product is fully handmade and uses the materials stated in the product description. If you discover within 36 months from the delivery date that a product used a material not as described or that any part was sewn using a machine rather than by hand, we will compensate you in an amount equal to five times the product price you paid for the affected item, excluding taxes, fees, and shipping. We may require reasonable verification, which can include returning the item for inspection, providing detailed photos or video, an in‑person inspection, or an independent expert assessment. For clarity, “sewn using a machine” refers to machine‑made structural stitching. The use of non‑stitching equipment such as edge burnishers, heat presses, logo stamps, or gluing tools does not violate this pledge. Claims under this pledge must be submitted within the 36‑month window and are limited to direct compensation as described; they do not cover indirect or consequential losses. This pledge does not limit your statutory consumer rights.

9) Start date, eligibility, and documentation

Warranty and pledge periods begin on the delivery date shown in the carrier’s tracking. Claims are available to the original purchaser and to gift recipients who present proof of purchase. We may request proof of identity and reasonable documentation to prevent misuse or fraud.

10) Implied warranties and local rights

To the maximum extent permitted by law, any implied warranties are limited in duration to the applicable express warranty period stated above. Some states or countries do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of incidental or consequential damages; in those places, these limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state or country.

This warranty covers only the repair, replacement, or refund of the product itself. We are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages, such as loss of other property, loss of use, or financial losses, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11) Your rights

This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or state continue to apply.
